Early Easter Dinner at Feed my Sheep

As others prepare for a relaxed weekend with family, Feed my Sheep is stepping up to bring an Easter meal to everyone.

Instead of taking the holiday off, they’ll be serving their usual meals and adding something special on Saturday.

They wrapped up Fish Fridays and people who wouldn’t have an Easter meal usually will enjoy smoked brisket and Boston Butt on Saturday.

Children can enjoy their own Easter activity kit from Lynn Meadows Discovery Center.

New Life Family Church usually serves a packed lunch every second Saturday, but they wanted to make this weekend special. Business Solutions Owner Bob Scruggs said, “I mean, its tough life living out there on the street. I think you kind of get sick of cold meals all the time. So, it’s not just the fact that it’s a hot meal, but that is a homemade hot meal. It’s like what mom used to make. I think it will touch their hearts. It will make them feel welcome and wanted again.”
