Dylan Favre Gives Props to SSC’s Myles Brennan
Another former MSU quarterback by the name of Dylan Favre was once the high school football record holder for career passing yards and touchdowns. But the nephew of Brett Favre is no longer the all-time leader in the Magnolia State.
That honor now belongs to fellow St. Stanislaus Rockachaw Myles Brennan who passed Favre in passing touchdowns on Friday at East Central. Brennan shattered the record with eight touchdowns through the air.
By the time it’s all said and done the LSU commits new high-marks might be considered untouchable. Perhaps a little bittersweet for Favre, but he says at least Brennan is keeping it in the fam. “He was one of the ball boys whenever we played. Now he’s breaking every record that I ever set. I’d much rather it be someone I know and somebody at my school. Everything I’ve seen and read, he’s got a really bright future and he’s doing really good things.”
Favre graduated from SSC in 2010 with 144 touchdowns. Brennan now has 152 and counting.
