Driver dies in one-vehicle crash in Pascagoula

A motorist was killed in a one-vehicle crash that happened Monday evening in Pascagoula.

Officers were sent to the scene on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard about 6:47 p.m., where a vehicle was traveling westbound when it left the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver was ejected and died at the scene. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family.

The incident is being investigated by Pascagoula Police. Anyone with information is asked to call the department at 228-762-2211.
