Drive-thru Halloween Bash set for Saturday in Gulfport
If you’re looking for a safe and scary good time this weekend, look no further than the Isiah Fredericks Community Center for an annual event.
The Halloween Bash has become a staple for the residents of Harrison County’s District Four and is organized by Supervisor Kent Jones.
Like last year, Saturday’s event will be a drive-thru format with volunteers dressing up in costumes and handing out free candy and treats to families.
Supervisor Jones says it’s always a treat seeing kids having a good time getting into the Halloween spirit. “This is just one of the ways that we do it. We do things throughout the year, but there’s nothing really like Halloween because those kids get an opportunity to put their costumes on, look themselves in the mirror, and fantasize about who they are, and we just love being a part of that.”
The Halloween Bash runs from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Gulfport.
