Drive by shooting targets homes and officers in Pascagoula

Pascagoula police are investigating a drive by shooting that targeted a home and officers late last night.
Officers responded to a call on North Fair Street shortly after 9 p.m. in reference to a black male driving by and shooting at a residence.
As officers investigated, the suspect returned and fired shots at officers. The officers did not return fire. There were no injuries to civilians or police.
The suspect was identified by Pascagoula police as 22-year-old Timothy McWilliams. Police in Moss Point arrested McWilliams at his home on Rose Drive. Lt. Doug Adams with the Pascagoula Police Department said, “He was mad at his girlfriend was the original reason why he went by and shot. Not sure why he went back by and shot at our officers, but we appreciate the help of the Moss Point Police Department. We had him in custody within about an hour after the incident occurred.”
McWilliams is being held in Jackson County. He is charged with two counts of drive by shooting.
