DQ Blizzard Battle raising awareness for Miracle Network Hospital

Today at Dairy Queen, you can buy a sweet treat for a good cause!

The Gulfport police and fire department are going against each other this afternoon for a good cause! Both groups are taking part in the Gulfport Dairy Queen’s Blizzard Battle.

At 2 p.m., you can buy a blizzard and support either the fire department or police department depending on the flavor.

The Blizzard Battle raises awareness and funds for the Gulf Coast’s local children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

A portion of proceeds goes directly to the Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.

If you can’t make it the Blizzard Battle in Gulfport, youth groups from two churches are meeting at 6 for another battle.

The O’Neal Road Church of Christ in Gulfport and the Long Beach Church of Christ face off at the Dairy Queen in Gulfport.
