Dos & Don’ts You Need to Know for Keesler Air Show

Keesler Air Force Base is busy getting ready for the 25th Keesler Air Show, which they’re calling the biggest block party Biloxi has ever seen.

It’s been four years since the Thunderbirds came to Keesler and they are excited to once again host the event. If you have access to Keesler, come through the White Avenue gate Saturday morning for the show. Civilians however, should take the Bayview exit off I-110 and head west until you see Keesler personnel. Shuttles will bring you from parking onto the base.

Lt. Col. Kyle Tate of Keesler Air Force Base says, “Please do not bring coolers, brief cases, large coolers, do not bring weapons of any type. A good rule to remember is if you’re going through an airport and you don’t want a T.S.A. screener catching it, do not bring it to Keesler.”

However, you are encouraged to bring sunscreen, cameras, and water to ensure an enjoyable day. The Budweiser Clydesdales and Dalmatian are already on base and Thunderbirds will be flying in Friday. Coordinators say there are activities and events for all ages.
