Door decorating contest at Moore Community House

Moore Community House in Biloxi has transformed its hallways into a winter wonderland.

It is all part of their winter-themed door decorating contest where parents and children from each class came together to see who could show off the most Christmas spirit.

Some of the parents from Moore Community House tell News 25 they didn’t even know the reward of the contest, but they just enjoyed spending time with their kids doing fun holiday crafts. Moore Community House Parent Melinda Wheeler said, “I love being able to come in and do things with my kids. Just to see the joy on their faces is really one of the big things and I want them to know that school is fun. It’s not just for learning. It is for fun also.”
