Domino’s Raising Dough for Local Family
An Ocean Springs husband and wife suddenly lost their baby girl to a medical condition last week. Today, Domino’s is pitching in by helping raise some dough for the family.
On October 6th, Ocean Springs natives Sarah and Garrett Gore unexpectedly lost their one-year-old daughter, Sofia.
All day long, each Domino’s in the state of Mississippi has agreed to donate 20 percent of proceeds to the Gore family. All you have to do is mention Sofia’s name or use the code DN3. Proceeds donated will go to hospital and funeral expenses for Sofia.
This effort hits close to home for Long Beach Domino’s Manager Misty Wren who is Sofia’s great aunt. “What has happened is absolutely tragic. You never expect something like this to happen, but unfortunately it does. We don’t know why and we don’t get to ask why, but for whatever reason it happened. She’s in a better place now and she’s not in pain or suffering. We’re just asking for comfort and support for our family and especially Sofia’s mom and dad.”
