Domino’s Raising Dough for Matute Family

You may want to think Domino’s Pizza for lunch or dinner this coming Wednesday, especially since a portion of proceeds are going to a good cause.
Nearly two weeks ago, a fatal car crash claimed the lives of Concepcion Matute and his two daughters Rosalina and Julisa. Domino’s is raising dough to help cover the family’s expenses. Just mention the Matute family when ordering from any Coast Domino’s this Wednesday and 20 percent of proceeds will go towards the family.
Operating Partner of the Lorraine Road location Jerry Kelly started the fundraiser in memory of the Matutes, who were long time customers. “I called them, the family, to offer my condolences and learned they were struggling with the finances for the cost of not one funeral but three. I knew I had to do something. We decided to do a fundraiser for them. We’ve done it in the past and it’s been very successful. We’re hoping to try to build up some business so we can give them some help.”
Even those who don’t eat pizza can still donate to the family, just stop by Domino’s on Lorraine Road in Gulfport any time between open and close on Wednesday.
