Dolphin still stranded in Jackson County

The dolphin stranded in Jackson County still has not found its way back to sea.
The dolphin has been trapped in Old Fort Bayou in Jackson County since last Wednesday. The problem is the dolphin is swimming in freshwater and needs to be in saltwater.
This afternoon, Executive Director of the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies Moby Solangi told News 25 he is asking the government for approval to capture, examine, and rehab the dolphin before returning it to salt water.
