Dolce Bakeshop opening shop in Bay St. Louis
Dolce Bakeshop in Long Beach is expanding and opening their second location in Bay St. Louis.
Brooke Rester, the owner of Dolce Bakeshop, started baking classes in 2006 and fell in love with it, which then led her to make cakes for friends and family.
Rester ended up opening her own bakeshop in 2017 where she bakes and makes personalized cakes, cupcakes, macaroons, gelato, and more.
Dolce will be the first bakery in Bay St. Louis and will have the same baked goods as the Long Beach location. The only difference is that the new shop will not be offering wedding cake orders. Customers will have to go through the Long Beach store. “This is really about coming home for me. We looked for a spot in Bay St. Louis before we made our way to Long Beach and there was nothing available. Coming to the Bay is just, there’s a lot of nostalgia for me. We still have a lot of friends and family in the Bay. So, we’re excited to bring Dolce to the Bay.”
The new shop is under renovations and set to open June 1st at 131 Main Street, Suite D.
