Doggone double at MGM Park

MGM Park let the dogs out for the Biloxi Shucker’s Doggone doubleheader against the Mobile Baybears.

Locals brought their pets to the game to see if the Shuckers could get their paws on a victory. Usually the dogs are invited to Monday home games, but there was an exception this week considering an 11 game homestand at MGM Park.

This event allows dog owners and their pets to fetch for new friends on the Coast while watching the game of baseball. Shuckers fan Morgan Waugh said, “I love it. It’s super fun and he has a blast. I get to meet other cool people. I think it’s just a great way to connect with the community.”

This is the first of many activities taking place at MGM Park. On Saturday, the Shuckers will host a Halfway to Mardi Gras Night where the team will wear custom Mardi Gras themed jerseys illustrated by a local artist.
