Dog survives Moss Point tornado in kennel
Given the magnitude of Monday’s tornado, it’s truly a miracle that no lives were lost.
Scooby Doo Mickey Mouse fits in this category! The pup was in his kennel as the EF2 tornado struck.
He’s a six-month old German Shepard mix that belongs to the Sabino family and was named by their five-year-old daughter.
The Sabino’s were at the doctor during the storm and on the drive back couldn’t help but assume the worst.
Three houses on their street are so damaged that they’ll need to be demolished. Their roof was damaged and walls will need to be repaired, but not the dog house.
Scooby Doo Mickey Mouse is one lucky pup. Charles Sabino said, “Literally when you can look and see a roof missing on a house and it’s two or three streets over, you think, ‘how did my dog make it?’ but he did as you can see. He’s still back there.”
Their puppy was a little shaken up after the storm. They took him on a walk today and he’s back to his happy puppy self.
