Dog Park grand opening in Ocean Springs

The addition of a brand new dog park is coming to Ocean Springs.

The new park is located off Bienville Boulevard behind the Ocean Springs Police Department and Ocean Springs Fire Department.

The ribbon cutting featured the Ocean Springs Fire Department on the grill, raising funds for the Firefighters Association. Pop Brothers was also on hand handing out pup pops. Ocean Springs Mayor Shea Dobson said, “We’ve been working on it for a while and we’re very excited. A lot of people helped. A lot of people donated money to make today happen, a lot of wagging tales. It’s just a good time for the community.”

There are a few rules to keep in mind when visiting the park. Your dog must be on a leash upon entering and leaving the park and they must have a collar with identification tags.

You can’t bring any other animals besides dogs. You should never leave your dog unattended and remember to clean up after your dog.
