Divers find body of Biloxi man who drowned

Authorities have recovered the body of a man who drowned in east Biloxi Saturday night.
According to Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove, 49-year-old Biloxi resident Chin Phan fell off a boat into the water behind Boomtown Casino Saturday night. Crews from the Biloxi Fire Department, Biloxi PD, and the Department of Marine Resources began searching for Phan after 6 p.m. The search was called off when it got too dark.
DMR divers recovered Phan’s body Sunday morning. Events leading up to Phan’s death are still under investigation.
