Dive deep with Camp Aqua winter camp at the Mississippi Aquarium
Your minnows are ‘shore’ to learn a thing or two about the deep blue sea with the Mississippi Aquarium’s Camp Aqua winter camp.
Campers put their adventure caps on and explore the layers of the ocean, discovering the animals that live there.
Each day will include hands-on experiences, take home crafts, animal encounters, and guest appearances.
Registration includes two snacks daily, lunch each day, a Camp Aqua t-shirt, and a Keesler Federal Credit Union swag bag.
Camp runs December 27th through December 31st and you can register now at msaquarium.org. Camp Director Elizabeth Whigham said, “This year we have our winter camp which is discovering the deep. So, our theme is going to be talking about all the different layers of the ocean, starting with the top layer and going all the way down to the abyss. So, we will be talking about all the different animals that live in it and the different adaptations they have to deal with in those really extreme environments.”
