Disney on Ice at the Coast Coliseum
Mickey, Minnie, Belle, Cinderella and all of your favorite Disney characters came to life, grabbed a pair of skates and hit the ice tonight.
Disney on Ice started at 7 o’clock at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. This year’s theme is “Let’s Celebrate.” Characters demonstrate different holidays and celebrations performed around the world.
Before the show, our local veterans from Gulfport’s Armed Forces Retirement Home had the chance to say “cheese!” with Mickey and Minnie in a behind the scenes celebration.
Principal skater Mani Gardner said, “Our show actually has over 50 Disney on Ice characters. We have Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Daisy, Donald. We have seven prince and princesses, Aladdin, Jasmine, Cinderella, and Prince Charming. We have the “Toy Story” characters, which I portray Buzz Lightyear. Woody and Jessie join me.”
Disney on Ice will perform tomorrow night through Sunday. Tickets can be bought at the Coast Coliseum box office.
