Disaster Assistance Approved

Governor Phil Bryant’s request for disaster assistance was approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration for Harrison and Walthall counties for flooding.
Residents, businesses and non-profit organizations affected by floods on April 28th through May 2nd in Harrison County are eligible to apply for low interest loans for recovery.
The declaration also covers adjacent counties of Hancock, Jackson, Pearl River, Pike and Stone.
The SBA will open disaster loan outreach centers in both Harrison and Walthall counties next week, sites to be announced.
