Diesel Spill at the Port of Gulfport

Port authorities tell News 25 the 200 gallons of diesel spilled at the Port of Gulfport this morning is all cleaned up.
Several agencies responded to the spill around 5 a.m. before diesel could leak into the Gulfport Harbor. The fuel was being put into a ship when a leak caused it to flow into the water.
According to the Port of Gulfport, the Mississippi Coast Guard was able to contain the spill by placing a boom around it.
According to port authorities, the spill was stopped before it could cause harm and it hasn’t stopped operation.
