D’Iberville’s Piper Rushing signs to further her softball career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College

The signing day festivities continue over in Harrison county as D’Iberville softball celebrates a softball signee! Lady Warrior third and first baseman Piper Rushing letting the ink dry with the blue and gold! Rushing will be continuing her outstanding softball career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Piper told News 25’s she’s been dreaming of this day and can’t believe it’s finally here.

“It’s amazing. I’ve dreamed about this all my life to get to actually play at the next level and when I have kids one day to get to tell them that I played at the next level. I’m just so excited. Softball has always been a big part of me and I can’t wait to continue this journey,” said Rushing. “I’m so thankful for it. I’ve always had a huge support group. My family, coaches, teammates, all just mean the world to me. I love having them around me and it definitely makes everything so much better.”
