Nineteen-year-old Sianna Hue Nguyen, from D’Iberville, was arrested on the charge of Making Terroristic Threats, which took place at the D’Iberville High School on January 05, 2024.

The D’Iberville Police Department received a tip from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, regarding a “Snap Chat” social media post from an account belonging to Nguyen.

In this post, Nguyen made a threat to “shoot up the school.” D’Iberville Police officers working with Detectives immediately began investigating the post and verifying it as Sianna Hue Nguyen.

In cooperation with the school officials, she was located on campus and it was verified she was unarmed and not an immediate threat to campus.

Nguyen was transported to the D’Iberville Police Department and interviewed. Subsequently, she was charged with one count of Making of Terroristic Threats.

Nguyen was then transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and booked with a $25,000.00 bond set by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain pending an initial appearance.
