D’Iberville man sentenced for armed robbery

A D’Iberville man has been sentenced for robbing a pizza delivery driver in March 2016.

During his plea hearing, 20-year-old Jacquelle Green admitted to following the pizza delivery driver to their destination. When the driver stopped to make his delivery, a co-defendant, Jonathan Britt, wore a ski mask and brandished a gun while demanding money from the driver.

The delivery driver handed Britt what cash he had and Britt returned to the vehicle Green was driving.

Green was sentenced to 15 years for armed robbery with five years to be served in prison.
