D’Iberville man charged with statutory rape

A D’Iberville man was arrested and charged with statutory rape of a 15-year-old today.
According to authorities, 22-year-old Terry Lee Sparks was arrested after the parent of the victim reported that Sparks had sexual intercourse with their daughter.
Sparks was arrested by Gulfport police on Creosote Road. He was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility with a $50,000 bond.
