D’Iberville High archery’s Patrick Bingham signs with William Carey
D’Iberville State Champion Archer Patrick Bingham extended his archery career by signing a college scholarship.
Bingham, who has been on the D’Iberville High School archery team for four years, is taking aim at college, signing with William Carey University.
He earned the highest male average for the archery team for two straight years and has served as a mentor for new archers. He’s also a JROTC cadet major and an Eagle Scout.
Bingham is looking forward to this next chapter in life. “I have been on that campus before. My dad is alumni. I know the campus. I know the area. It’s just going to be a lot of fun because I’m getting to do two things I love pretty much for a living because I get to do graphic design as well as shoot archery, which has been a huge part of my life.”
Bingham will attend William Carey in the fall and major in graphic design with the hopes of working for a logo design company.
