D’Iberville discus and shot put athlete Aryn Eady breaks personal school, meet and venue records!

Earlier in the year we featured a much deserved WXXV Student Athlete of the Week, and she continues to prove she is more than deserving of that honor time and time again. Aryn Eady is a senior proudly representing D’Iberville High School on the track and field team competing in both discus and shot put.

In her most recent meet, Eady broke her own school record for the second time this season with a throw of 144’6.5″. She simultaneously broke the meet record and the venue record after this throw.

Eady is now ranked number one in the state for both discus and shot put, and now she is ranked twelfth overall in the entire nation.

Congratulations Aryn, and we cannot wait to see the great things you accomplish throughout the rest of the season!
