D’Iberville Center draws offer from USA

Even with another year left to play ball for the D’Iberville Warriors, the recruiting process is really starting to speed up for three-star center Louis Paul Smith.
Yesterday, the rising senior received his seventh scholarship offer and his second this month from South Alabama. He’s also sitting on a pile of FBS and FCS offers from the likes of Southern Miss, Troy, Nicholls State, Louisiana Monroe, Arkansas State, and Southeastern Louisiana.
Today, Smith tells News 25 “it’s very exciting and I’m enjoying it so far.”
For the class of 2019, he’s ranked as the fourth best player at his position in the entire country according to 24/7 Sports.
