Diamondhead man arrested in California in relation to 1977 cold cases
A Diamondhead man previously charged in a North Carolina cold case is now facing three murder charges in California dating back to the late 1970s.
Warren Alexander facing these charges in Ventura County, California, just west of Los Angeles. Those cases happened in 1977.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office says Alexander was transferred to California from North Carolina where he’s been held since 2022 on charges stemming from the 1992 death of Nona Cobb.
Alexander is now being held in the Ventura County Jail without bond.
