Diamond Youth Baseball Tournament wraps up in Pascagoula

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- Youth baseball all-stars took to the diamond in Pascagoula Monday, looking to bring home a championship to their respective communities.

We’re talking about the 10 and 12 U Diamond Youth Baseball State Tournament.

Twenty-four teams from across Mississippi have been in the Flagship City over the past four days for this tournament.

Pascagoula city leaders tell News 25 this event is expected to generate at least $250,000 in economic impact as parents and kids stay in local hotels, eat at area restaurants, and visit local shops.
