Dewitt Trial Continues
The trial for the former girls’ basketball assistant coach at Hancock High School continues today.
Several witnesses are still set to testify in the case against Danielle Dewitt. Dewitt is also expected to take the stand today.
On Thursday, the jury heard from school administrators and the former head coach who agreed the alleged inappropriate behavior was a clear display of favoritism for the victim.
A friend of the victim said she observed Dewitt expressing “obsessive behavior” toward the victim.
Later in the day, the victim took the stand in front of the jury in a closed courtroom.
