Details released for Nolan Wells funeral service

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- During Wednesday’s press conference, Nolan’s mother and father announced finalized funeral plans.

Services are set to be held Monday, July 20 at Center Pointe Church in Ocean Springs, which will be officiated by Rev. Al Sharpton.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. that day with the official service held right after that.

Following those services, the family says there will be a celebration of life at the Jackson County Fairgrounds for family members as well as Nolan’s friends and teammates.

The family once again thanked entertainer Tyler Perry and former NFL Quarterback Colin Kaepernick for helping to cover the cost of funeral services.

According to Christine Wonsley, the repass will be private. Passes will be given to attendees. Security will be present for both the funeral and the repass.
