During the period of June 29th to July 2nd, 2015, the Gulfport Police Department executed several search and arrest warrants in a continued effort to address violent crimes and the criminal subculture as previously discussed by Chief Leonard Papania. The detailed results are as follows;

Sixteen (16) search warrants were served during the enforcement detail which resulted in the seizure of several forms of drugs and Fifteen (15) felony arrests. Eight (8) firearms and an undisclosed amount of currency were also seized during the operation. Twenty-three (23) OTHER people were arrested for misdemeanor offenses.
This enforcement operation was a joint effort with the assistance of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Coastal Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
