Deputies Save Choking Infant
It was a happy ending to a scary story in Jackson County this week, as three Jackson County sheriff deputies rushed to save a choking child.
Deputies Nathan Fisher, Christian Pitalo, and Sergeant McMillian responded to a home in Jackson County after a call was made that an eight day old infant was unresponsive. The baby girl was blue and her eyes were rolled back in her head. Deputy Fisher began to clear the baby’s airway while Deputy Pitalo assisted. The child then started crying and gained her color back.
She was sent to an Ocean Springs hospital, where she is currently doing fine.
