Department of Revenue hosted job fair in Biloxi

The Department of Revenue hosted a job fair in hopes of finding some ambitious workers to fill numerous positions.

The DOR is the primary agency for collecting tax revenues which support state and local government in Mississippi.

The department is looking to fill multiple positions including revenue specialist, revenue officers, auditors, and criminal investigators.

The salaries range anywhere between $35,000 to $58,000. Southern Region Audit Manager Kesha Smith said, “We are looking for energetic people to fill this position. Sometimes collecting taxes is not an easy job. So, definitely you want someone that is okay and understands the overall goal and purpose for the state of Mississippi and the necessity for taxes to be collected to provide services to the citizens of the state and also great benefits working for the state.”
