Delta State University is being awarded a $1 million grant for a new flight simulator…

The grant is going to the school’s Commercial Aviation Department, paving the way for purchase of an agricultural and aerial firefighting flight simulator.

The sim will be the first of its kind, giving essential training to future firefighters and agriculture workers.

Faculty and students both can take advantage of the program.
