Deadline approaching to register for Feed the Needy

You still have a few days left to request a meal for the Harrison County Thanksgiving Feed the Needy distribution.

For decades now, Harrison County law enforcement agencies have joined forces at Thanksgiving and Christmas to provide meals for those who may need one.

The deadline to request a meal is 4 p.m. Friday. You can call any Harrison County police department or the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office to do so. This is limited to Harrison County residents.

If you’d like to donate food to the program, D’Iberville Police are handling that so call their department.

The Biloxi Police Department is handling requests for people who want to volunteer.
