Daughters and Heroes Dinner
One day, she’s a little girl asking for a ride on your shoulders and the next day, she’s all grown up.
The YMCA provided a special night for fathers and daughters all along the Coast to bond and make memories that will last for a lifetime. The fourth annual Daughters and Heroes Dinner attracted 126 participants of all ages. Daughters spent quality time with their heroes by watching movies and playing games before the big dinner at the Gulf Hills Hotel and Conference Center. Daughters and Heroes participants Ernie Pleasant said, “The photo booth last year was a lot of fun. They had two giant bins of goofy costumes, Viking helmets and mustaches and big sunglasses. You just go through and use whatever you want and make all kinds of silly pictures.”
All participants were transported from the YMCA to the Gulf Hills Hotel in stylish limousines.
