Dairy Queen celebrating Miracle Treat Day to benefit New Orleans Children’s Hospital

At the Gulfport location, Dairy Queen is celebrating Miracle Treat Day. You can bring health and hope to local kids.

For every Blizzard treat sold, one dollar or more will be donated to local children’s hospitals throughout Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals.

Biloxi Shuckers mascot Schooner was present and there was a Blizzard eating contest between the Gulfport Police Department and the Gulfport Fire Department.

Owner George Moore appreciates everyone who came out to his Dairy Queen in support of the fundraiser. “This is a wonderful day for Dairy Queen. It’s a day when we celebrate the kids, we support all of the children’s hospitals all the way across the country, but in this one particular we support the New Orleans Children’s Hospital. We’re really, really appreciative to all the people that come in here and help us do that.”
