News 25’s Taylor Rubach got a sneak peek at the Sugar Factory inside the Hard Rock Casino.

It’s a party like no other. Executive Chef Joseph Marquis said, “Just the atmosphere. You see so many of everybody from kids to adults to older people and it’s always a party. You come in here at 11 at night, people are dancing. The music is loud. These go off and there’s fireworks in the boxes. It’s just nothing we’ve ever seen here on the Coast.”

General Manager Denise Coleman said, “They just come. It can go from zero to 100 especially on the weekends, it’s a big party in here.”

The Sugar Factory in the Hard Rock Casino is lighting up the Gulf Coast with its vibrant party atmosphere, glued together with its colorful menu of smoking drinks and rainbow sliders and their insane milkshakes piled with every sweet tooth’s greatest desire. “All the creativity like these right here, I just think that’s neat the way we built these on the outside. I’ve never seen anyone do that. The drinks with the smoke,  it’s just something fun every day.”

If you think you’re having a hard time deciding what to choose, the Sugar Factory has a 42 page menu with over one hundred different items to choose from and not to mention it is open 24 hours a day. “Everything that you thought of when you were a child is in this menu and then some more. This s’mores one is actually one of my favorites. There are so many varieties, so many different types of greatness here.”

“What came to mind when the owner of the Sugar Factory wanted to have something like this that’s so unique that not a lot of places have this?” “No, they don’t. The Lollipop Passion is one of our most popular drinks. It’s got a fun, unique style. It is apple, coconut, it’s got a little bit of magic in there which is great and who does not love candy?”

Candy is something you cannot get enough of here. The restaurant has families pouring in from all over, eager to get the sugar fix. “We had people from New Orleans. We had Alabama coming here. Everybody wanting this place so bad. Some of our wait times are three to four hours. It’s crazy. It’s high demand.”

“People love it. If you haven’t come out yet, you really need to. You’re not going to find another restaurant like this on the Coast. With the music like this, the ambiance, we have celebrities in here and everyone else, it’s a great time.”
