Crusaders Needs Help Tearing Down House

The mission of Crusaders for Veterans is helping veterans in need, and tomorrow they need your help doing just that. A disabled Vietnam veteran nurse who became paralyzed after falling out of a helicopter needs her house torn down. The old house was all but destroyed in Hurricane Katrina and now 10 years later it must be removed. That’s where crusaders and you can step in and help. The tear down will begin at 8 tomorrow morning in Biloxi. Crews have already been out preparing the house to be torn down. Kevin Cuttill, Crusaders for Veterans the Moore Community, they have program called women in construction. For the last couple of days they’ve been out there and they’ve stripped out plumbing, the wiring, took out the siding and the windows. They’ve done a tremendous job. Need to bring hammer, gloves and cool clothing. We’ve got water, pizza hut is bringing out pizza we’ve got a nurse on station so we’ve got everything pretty well looked out. Just come comfortable. That house is located at 213 Dorries Street in Biloxi. If you want to help, just simple show up tomorrow morning.
