Cruisin’ the Coast Make Its Way to Ocean Springs

Cruisin’ the Coast made its way to in Ocean Springs Thursday. The Magnolia Car Club helped organize the parking for all the cruisers.

This year, they added extra parking spots at City Hall and the Chamber of Commerce. Volunteers say Ocean Springs is one of the favorite Cruisin’ destinations because of how clean the area is.

Kala Farris, a volunteer for the Magnolia Car Club, says, “The city lays out most of parking spots, they’ll lay everything out. We actually increased the parking by moving some boundaries today just to accommodate them. We put some people at City Hall, and the Chamber of Commerce. We’ve had to move some people into those spots, but our club loves doing this and we hope to make everyone feel welcome.”

Friday and Saturday will be the larger event days in Ocean Springs, with a sock hop beginning at 5 p.m. Friday night.
