Cruisin’ Continues in Ocean Springs with Sock Hop
Ocean Springs cruisers enjoyed the beautiful weather along with Bloody Marys and live music Friday.
Friday night, the annual Ocean Springs sock hop started at 5 p.m., with guests none other than Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. More than 30,000 cruisers are expected to dance the night away during the two music shows under the live oak trees. Little Anthony and the Imperials will be the headliner.
Ron Johnson, owner of Sound Associate, says, “You’ll hear the best of Anthony and the Imperials’ music, lot a lot of hits from the 50s and 60s, those guys put on a great show. They’re from Las Vegas, Las Vegas and Reno, they’re here tonight for us.”
Cruisin’ the Coast activities will continue in Ocean Springs on Saturday as well.
