Cruisin’ the Coast volunteers needed in Ocean Springs

Cruisin’ the Coast is just around the corner and preparations are now in full gear.
The Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce Main Street Tourism Bureau is calling for volunteers for Cruisin’ the Coast Ocean Springs. Cruisin’ the Coast will be in Ocean Springs on Thursday October 5th and Friday October 6th.
Cruisin’ the Coast is anticipated to bring over 7,000 cruisers and visitors to the area. The event has an estimated economic impact of $28 million for the state. Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Cynthia Dobbs Sutton said, “We actually are the welcome committee to all those cruisers coming into town and so we need a team of volunteers to help us greet and show everybody what’s going on in Ocean Springs, pass out flyers. We have a big Friday night sock hop event we want people to come to. So, we are just looking for a team of volunteers that can help us meet and greet and welcome the cruisers.”
