Cruisers roll through the Biloxi Block Party

Cruisin’ the Coast is filled with fun events, but one of the biggest events every year is the Biloxi Block Party.

Being one of the biggest Cruisin’ the Coast events, the Biloxi Block party has it all.

Even if you’re not a classic car fan, there was plenty to enjoy between live music and local vendors.

“We’re with the Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and we’re selling hot dogs and bloody Mary’s and enjoying this beautiful day in Biloxi.”

Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tina Ross Seamans said “This is one of the fundraisers we do in the city and we’re having a fun time doing it.”

Music and food are just the backdrop as the classic cars stole the show.

Antique Car Owner Randy Robbins said, “This is a 1970 Super Bird. It was a Nascar race car and that’s why it has the tail on the back. We have some friends that live here so we wanted to visit them. We’ve always loved Cruisin’ the Coast. It’s a wonderful event.”

We even got to meet a couple of northern transplants that are basically Cruisin’ veterans at this point.

Cruiser Bernadette Torre said, “This is our fourth year. We never knew about this. We used to do the Ocean City, Maryland one and thought that was great. We came one year and it just so happen to be going on and we were like wow this is great, ever since we’ve been coming.”
