Cruisers celebrating at the Biloxi Block Party
In Biloxi, Cruisin’ the Coast is in full swing with its day block party taking place downtown.
Day four of Cruisin’ the Coast began in Biloxi as many cruisers showed off their best rides of the city’s block party.
Many owners lifted their hoods showing off their engines. Thousands of cars flooded the streets from classic Corvettes to the famous Pontiac Bonneville.
One antique owner from Madison showed off what’s under his hood, describing the atmosphere of this year’s Cruisin’ the Coast. Will Irby said, “It’s a ’65 Barracuda that I’ve owned since 1978. It’s got a 433 cubic inch aluminum third-gen hemi, about 700 horsepower Hilbert injection. Some people are car nuts, some people just casual observers, but everybody down here to have a good time.”
Ricky and Jodi Gill from Yazoo City said, “I love the people down here and dog friendly. You can take your babies almost anywhere you want to go. People always friendly down here. Always very nice, down here.”
