Cris Carter has praise for more than just the Eagles players after Sunday’s NFC Championship game

– All right, CC, minus the glasses, Nick Foles was tremendous. Maybe he is just reading too much of the defense.

– [LAUGHS]

– I don’t know if that’s what–

– Whatever he did, whatever he ate before the game, he needs to continue that same look, everything.

JENNA WOLFE: It worked. Was it him? How were the Eagles able to dominate the Vikings yesterday?

– You have to give Nick Foles a lot of credit. When you’re in a game like this, you can’t even start to start dishing out credit until you give credit to the Philadelphia fans. That stadium, it was amazing. It was electric. I mean it was rocking. And this game, I guess early, it could have went any way. Vikings drive straight down, score.

JENNA WOLFE: Right away.

– Philadelphia does nothing.

NICK WRIGHT: Yup.

– The Vikings get the ball back. And Case Keenum turns into Case Keenum, throws a pick six. And from there on, I mean, it was over with. So that crowd and the players, the aggressive play calling, I mean, right before halftime, it’s 30 seconds, they’re going against the number one defense. They decide to drive down the field. And they get–

NICK WRIGHT: Up 14!

– And they get points before halftime. And Jacksonville had almost twice as much time on the clock, they took a knee. Philadelphia decides, we’re going to drive, and they go and get some points out of it. So you can’t just– Nick Foles, yes. The head coach, yes. Frank Reich, the offensive coordinator, yes. The defensive line, they had five defensive linemen with six pressures.

NICK WRIGHT: Yeah.

– Like, so they destroyed the Vikings offensive line, which, going back to Friday, that was my big point going into the game. So at all levels, Philadelphia was dominant over the Vikings.
