Crimson Tide rolls into Academy

Now that Alabama clinched their 17th national championship, Academy Sports stores across the southeast are stocking up on Crimson Tide gear.
The sports and outdoors stores debut the national championship gear as early as Monday night where some stores in Alabama opened after the game.
The Academy in Gulfport tells News 25 while they haven’t had enough fans to create lines, a few hundred people have stopped by to grab championship apparel. Matt Fasler with Academy Sports Gulfport said, “With Alabama, we rolled that out this morning. With a big Tide victory, we’ve got a lot of great customers who’ve come already in here today, buy the championship gear. It’s just been a great turnout so far. We’ve got so many excited people coming in trying to get this product.”
Last night’s thriller was the first all-SEC college football playoff title game.
