Crews connecting new and existing water mains in Ocean Springs

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- A heads up for the City of Ocean Springs, crews will be connecting a new water main to the existing water main on Front Beach Drive from Washington Avenue to the Seaman Memorial.

That work starting Monday, June 23 and running until this Thursday, June 26.

Due to the work, the existing water main must be shut off and crews will turn the water back on after testing requirements are met.

This work will close the splash pad and the bathrooms located at Fort Maurepas during this time.
