Crawfish Music Festival returns to the Coast Coliseum

The Coast Coliseum was hard at work today preparing for the 29th annual Crawfish Music Festival.

The festival will start tomorrow and will run through Sunday. The gates will open at 5 p.m. tomorrow through Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Guests can expect exciting fair rides, family friendly games, live music, and some delicious boiled crawfish.

Headliners for this year’s music entertainment includes Whiskey Myers on Friday, Jelly Roll on Saturday, and Koe Wetzel on Sunday.

While last year’s event had some bad weather mess with the party, this year is expected to have beautiful clear skies the whole time.  Coast Coliseum Executive Director Matt McDonnell said, “Well last year was tough; a lot of challenges with the weather and trying to make sure we got the shows on inside the Coliseum. This year, we don’t have to worry about it. We’re setting it once, we’ll clean up every day and come back and do it again, and it being outdoors creates a whole different vibe and a whole different environment and the people really want it outdoors and so do we.”

Guests can purchase tickets either at the gate of the festival or online on Stub Hub.
