Crash Victims Return Home
The survivors of Tuesday’s fatal rail crossing crash in Biloxi have returned home to Texas.
A bus carrying the nearly 30 senior citizens who survived the crash rolled into Bastrop late Wednesday night.
They were on their way to a casino Tuesday when their charter bus was struck by a freight train after it got stuck on the tracks.
The casino charter was organized by the Bastrop Senior Center near Austin, Texas.
Of the nearly three dozen passengers injured, several remain in critical condition in hospitals across the coast.
The NTSB is continuing to investigate what exactly happened. They are holding a press conference at the Hyatt Place in Biloxi this afternoon at four.
News 25 will broadcast the briefing live right here on NBC.
